Hawk-Eye style LED & RGB Tail Lights

For Infiniti Q50 2014-2017 & Nissan Skyline V37 2014-2024

Before you begin

Make the installation simple and safe.

This guide reorganizes the original installation sequence into clear visual steps. Read the complete guide before removing any factory parts.

  1. Confirm the vehicle and light set match: For Infiniti Q50 2014-2017 & Nissan Skyline 2014-2024.
  2. Prepare a trim tool, screwdriver, clean gloves and a safe work area.
  3. Test every function before putting the trunk liner and bumper back.

Identify every connector

Before installation, prepare the following tools.

Tools Required

Ratchet, sockets, wrenches, screwdriver, and trim removal tool

Installation steps

  1. Open the luggage compartment and use a plastic disassembly panel to remove the left and right taillight decorative panels,as follows.

    TIP Keep every factory screw and clip in a tray. Reuse them during final assembly.

    Pre‑installation Preparation Tools

  2. Remove the two fixing screws for the left and right respectively,as follows.

  3. Gently push the left and right curved lights backward with slight force, then unplug the original vehicle connector, as follows.

    TIP Keep every factory screw and clip in a tray. Reuse them during final assembly.

    Install the new taillight, plug it into the original vehicle socket, and secure it temporarily without tightening the screws, as follows.

  5. Use a plastic disassembly plate to open the tailgate, as shown in the following picture with several fixed buckles.

    TIP Keep every factory screw and clip in a tray. Reuse them during final assembly.

  6. Uncover a portion of the interior trim panel and unscrew the 4 fixing screws on each of the left and right falt lights.

  7. Unplug the original car plug, remover the left and right taillights, replace with new lights, and plug in the original car plug, as follows.

    CAUTION Support the light housing with one hand while removing the final screw.

  8. Connect the left and right inner part light to the brake and turn signal lines provided, and connect the left inner part light to them long "A" signal line, connect the right inner part light to the short "B" signal line.

  9. Loosen the decorative panel in the picture below using a plastic disassembly plate to facilitate subsequent wiring.

    CAUTION Support the light housing with one hand while removing the final screw.

  10. The wiring of the signal line connecting the inner part light and the outer part light on both sides is shown in the following figure.

  11. After connecting the siganl lines separately, as shown in the figure.

    CAUTION Support the light housing with one hand while removing the final screw.

  12. Do not assemble the screws yet, test after all the funcitons of the taillights are normal and there rae no issuesm, assemble and tighten the screws again.

    TIP Keep every factory screw and clip in a tray. Reuse them during final assembly.

Test before closing

Five-function test

  • Running light sequence
  • Brake light response
  • Sequential turn signal
  • No hyperflashing or loose wiring
  • Are both left and right headlights controllable via Bluetooth

If any function fails, return to the connector map and test one side at a time.

Condensation & Hyperflashing

Condensation

Condensation may occur when warm air inside the lens meets cool air outside. It usually disappears within a week.

Hyperflashing

If the turn signal and dashboard flash too quickly, connect the supplied resistor to the positive and negative signal wires.

One side is not working

swap left and right lights

Scenario 1:If the problem Switchs sides,this may the problem of the light;If the issue stays on the same side this may the problem of your vehicle's wiring.

Scenario 2:Check if the plug is turned upside down,causing the positive and negaativepoles to be connected in reverse.

Scenario 3:Check if the pins bent or not,causing the poor connet.

If issues persist after completing the tests,record a full 

video of the testing process and send it to us.

If the newly installed taillight is misaligned:

Please attach the enclosed black gaskets to each of the two srcew holes on the inner side of the taillight, as shown in the figure.
